'Technological advancement' is not some kind of ever-moving-forwards, nobody-at-the-reins, out-of-control phenomenon which keeps yielding new opportunities. For the most part 'technological advancement' involves the deliberate introduction of more surveillance and control from the system while offering superficial or temporary conveniences

Movie Genres

Movie genres, just like music genres and TV show formats, do not arise spontaneously or organically but are created and popularised (through repeatedly producing films which follow certain archetypes and tropes) for purposes of mass cultural engineering. Below are some examples of genres and (some of) their downstream effects.

Origin and Purpose

In the process of making documentaries and videos about the mechanisms of the Babylon system we find ourselves in, I have found that I can't produce content anywhere near as quickly as I'd like, and so many interesting observations fall by the wayside. This wiki is a way to capture and organise those ideas. Some may become videos down the track and some may not but hopefully browsing this collection of thoughts is useful and entertaining.

Throughout this wiki, this term is used as shorthand to refer to agents of all kinds, who are participating (knowingly or unknowingly) in the furthering of top-down agendas on some kind of managerial level. There is obviously a spectrum in terms of the level of involvement and participation in agendas - from the toilet cleaner at the pharmaceutical company up through to the CEO (and beyond) but generally speaking, the more active the individual in furthering these schemes, the more they …

Incandescent bulbs vs LED

We are sold LED bulbs as amazing achievements in energy efficiency (after a couple of other generations of 'energy-saver' bulbs to get us used to the idea). The lighting that comes from these bulbs might appear to be the same, but it is not. Incandescents are a piece of metal filament glowing from having current pushed through it. So you're looking at hot metal essentially. LEDs are diodes flashing on and off very quickly.

The illusion of 'countries'

The world is not a community of countries in some kind of large scale competition with each other, but a singular hierarchy that cares not about borders or 'leaders' or (for the most part) statutory laws. We've all heard about colonisers establishing arbitrary boundaries which are otherwise meaningless to tribal groups in the middle east and elsewhere, but somehow we fail to see the correlation with our own 'nations'.
